Farm La Negrita. Located above 1700 masl on volcanic soil, on the slopes of the snowy Tolima, near the equator. Its micro climate favors harvest most of the year, with a warm temperature in the day, sometimes accompanied by bright sun, in the evening a slight drizzle that protects the coffee plantations from the low temperatures. With eight different varieties the quality offered is outstanding, we have applied technological advances to be able to control the variables not related to the agro-environmental supply. Farmer: Mauricio Shatahh Proces: Washed. The cherries are hand-picked when ripe, de-pulped and fermented for up to 18 hours. The coffee is then fully washed using fresh water from a natural spring on the farm, before being left to dry on parabolic drying beds.
